ABOUT BUSHLOE ART SOCIETY

Bushloe Art Society was founded in May 1983 by the late Judy Ashcroft NDD: DLCA and Students attending evening classes at Guthlaxton  College.

The Societies activities include weekly studio sessions held at the All Saints Church Rooms from 7pm to 9pm on a Monday evening where members paint in the company of other like minded people of all ages an abilities in a very friendly atmosphere.

Here paintings are produced by members from location sketches and photographs, or still life and sometimes life drawing, if models are willing and available.  We break for tea and biscuits at 8pm and members usually have a wander around and look at each other work and discuss any problems they might be having or perhaps just general chit chat about their memories of the scene in question or what happened over the weekend…..
