Bushloe Art Society--was founded in May 1983 by students attending evening classes at Guthlaxton College, Wigston.

The Societies activities include weekly studio sessions at All Saints Church Rooms, Bushloe End, Wigston Magna, where paintings are produced from location sketches and photographs,  local Artist and President of the Society Judy Ashcroft NDD:DLCA is on hand to offer help and advice in a friendly atmosphere where tea coffee and biscuits are served.

Demonstrations and slide shows are also given on some Monday evenings by well known artists, these are also open to the public and are detailed in the events page of this website, an admission fee of £3.50 applies.

The Society holds two Exhibitions per year Spring and Autumn where members artwork is for sale. The Exhibitions are held in the furniture department on the first floor by kind permission of the Midlands Co-operative Society, at their Bell Street, Wigston Magna, Leicester store.
